Day 2: Parallel by Becca

I was bummed our West facing windows don't have blinds like this...
so the North ones will have to do!!

Day 2: Parallel by Kate

I give you parallel! This is a guardrail along Mountain Road. My original idea was to use the yellow lines in the middle of the road, but I skipped that in favor of not getting run over (the roads around here that are quiet have no yellow lines). I keep a Flickr page that has all my pics from this endeavor. So if you want to peek at what didn't make the cut or unedited versions check it out.

Day 2: Parallel by Taylor

I am at a conference for both today and tomorrow in Meredith NH right on Lake Winnipesaukee, and decided to not bring the battery charger for my camera because why would I need that? The battery hasa charge, it'll be good to go while I'm here. The battery dies on it as I am trying to play with the settings to get the time stamp off, and I never get to take any pictures with it today, so on to the exciting art of taking pictures with your phone. Surprisingly, they turned out ok, though setting up shots is pretty tough when you can't see the screen because of the sun glaring on the screen.

Staying at the Inn at Bay Point. Views great and the room is amazing, and surprisingly full of parallel lines (like frighteningly so)and I have a porch. Yay for leaving the battery charger!

Day 2: Parallel by J.

I was really stressing about this theme, but then I glanced over and saw my dusty guitar. This photo is the most action it's had in months.

Larger version.

Day 2: Parallel by Luke

Started off with a completely different idea that I posted at my blog, but ended up with this one:
Very simple again. It's actually shot from underneath a frosted glass dining table, which is why the pencil tops are so fuzzy and ill-defined - I haven't done any background removal or anything. Would love to be doing more outdoorsy location stuff but my camera is too big to take to work so I'll be shooting at night under electric lights most of the time. But hey, it's free, right?

Day 2: Parallel by Suzanne

WAY oblique theme this time around, which is cool because then you have to think about it a lot. In this case I'm going with masses of parallel lines, columns, and so on. This is actually the building I work in. It's pretty awesome.

So I've been putting the theme of the day in the "labels" box - who's with me!?!
