Day 51: Underneath by J.

I fear public bathrooms. Is there a specific term for that?

Whenever I lose something, I look underneath the couch. Here's what appeared today.

if i didn't end up with the creepy crawlies, i would enjoy observing bugs go about their business almost as much as i enjoy people watching...
this is what i found underneath a rock in the yard...

Day 50: Odd by Nick

It was disappointing to miss a day due to poor internet connection. Taken during the wee hours of Sunday, my roommate was rather drunk (as was I) when he pulled this maneuver and I had to tell him to wait while I grabbed my camera. For whatever reason we have random action figures from 20 years ago hanging out in our apartment waiting to assist in the lighting of cigarette.

Day 50: Odd by H

This is my brother. Second time he has featured here. How odd.

Day 50: Odd, by Jasmine

I'm trying to decide what's more odd: that we use a sheet as a curtain in the bedroom, that said sheet has a large hole in it, or that Agnes decided to jump through the hole to get off of the windowsill.

Day 50: Odd by J.

We need to really start Elle on the odd numbers. She can count to 10 using even numbers only, which is pretty odd. I guess it's our fault for starting it off by saying "one" every time, to which she'll answer "two". I've tried getting her to repeat one, but she'll just go to four and six and so on...

Day 49 and 50: Hair and Odd

So this is my hair, it's red and curly and frizzy. Also I am odd so this counts for both. :P

odd

this is my brother, dh... he may be the oddest person i know...
he's been known to rest his eyebrow on the clothesline in the past, stockpile water balloons and 'helicopters' from maple trees in drawers, & buy clothing from 'international male'...

One of these things is not like the others....

Day 49: Hair by Taylor

Some people have whats called a happy trail. I have a happy 4-lane highway. If you stare at it, its sort of like a Rorschach drawing, but made of hair.

Day 49: Hair by H

I shot a video homage for Plants vs Zombies today. This is Lizbt playing the sunflower. I think we'll all be seeing this kind of look soon on the runways of Milan, Tokyo, Paris etc. The yellow goes nice with the blue hair.

Day 49: Hair by J.

Today was board game day, so I didn't really see too much of anything other than cards, wooden pieces, dice, and pizza...

This is me holding a Famous Missions group that would be a strong contender for a "best facial hair" mission.

Day 49: Hair by Becca

I have always had mixed feelings about my hair. I started going gray when I was 16 and it has pretty much been thick and wavy since then. Through out college I dyed my hair, but being the low maintenance type of person that I am...I decided to let it go.

Sometimes I forget that I have some pretty significant streaks of silver. Until the kids I work with are stumped by my age, or older coworkers come up to me and tell me how inspiring I am (seriously...I have a 40 something year old coworker growing her hair out gray, because she feels empowered...by me?!)

But I have come to enjoy it as I have gotten older.

Day 49: Hair by Missy

spent the day at the gardens... and while i am obsessed with the hair on people's heads, especially my own, i thought i'd go with something different...
these are hairy cacti.
& every time i see these, i kick myself for forgetting to bring some self adhesive googly eyes...

Day 49: Hair, by Jasmine

This is my hair and that is my ear and headband. It seems that no matter what color I dye my hair, it ends up this color only days later. I'm ok with that.

Day 49: Hair by CC

My sister and I were expected to have red haired children. Although Elle came out with black hair, she now has the most awesome blonde curly hair ever. M nephew Caleb also has a nice blonde head. I was going to try and get a picture of the two of them with my dad, but Ronald McDonald was a great substitute. I wish it was clearer but they were both crazy!

i just so happened to have this growth removed today! i'm gonna ship it off to be made into a wig!

Day 48: Dark by Nick

It's dark and her name is Crystal, so... Dark Crystal, get it?

Day 49: Dark by H

I play Ned Kelly sometimes at the Old Melbourne Gaol. As part of a show they put on for the tourists on Saturdays. Much of it is played for laughs, despite his story being a pretty dark one.
Unlikely as it seems this is not my first job in a gaol. I used to work at Fremantle Prison as a "screamer". This job consisted of throwing a life-sized dummy over the 3rd floor railing and down on to the suicide-netting over the heads of the tour group, while letting out your best blood-curdling scream. The punters would scream, and then laugh at themselves. There were marks drawn on the walls of the cell I waited in, some of them left by prisoners counting out the days (the prison didn't close until 1991), others made by 'screamers' counting off to tours. (We got paid per tour). Amazing how a place of so much misery, violence, and despair can be re-invented as a place to bring the kids for a few laughs. It always makes me think of the quote, "Comedy is tragedy plus time." There were no working lights in the cells either, so it was pretty dark in that sense too.
