so, i wanted to challenge myself... winsome was that challenge. winsome is defined as 'charming in a childlike or naive way; alluring, sweet, irresistible, charismatic' ...
i immediately thought of audrey hepburn...
in NO way shape or form would i ever dare to compare myself to audrey, but i wanted to capture sweet and a sorta classic movie feel with this shot...
i hope that comes across...

i've mentioned my podcast before, but have never plugged it.......

my girlfriend and i have a weekly podcast called 'the messy housewives'... messy, you ask? yes. messy is simply a combo of our two names, jess and missy... we really are not dirtbags... we discuss very important topics and play some wicked music... more than anything, it's fun and just another chance for us to be creative...

Day 202: Wool by Missy

this morning i went on a class trip to pomona hall, not 5 minutes from my house... it's the restored home of the cooper family dating back to the early 1700's. i learned a lot. seeing and hearing about the camden of yesterday as opposed to the camden of today, well, it's exciting & heartbreaking all at the same time.
we had the dullest, most disagreeable and abrupt tour guide named pam... after the trip, the kids and i talked about what we saw & i complained about pam... i came to find out she lives next door to one of the students... i felt slightly ashamed, but not really, cause it was true.
the best part of the trip was talking to mercy, a delightful costumed old lady who vividly explained how the kitchen of pomona hall would have operated...
i wanted to take her home as my souvenir...
