Becca and I went to Olympic National Park today thinking we were going to get to see the rainforests, but sadly no (mainly due to a complete misread of the website, we did not plan for the 5 hour one-way drive into vampire country*). Instead we had to settle for Hurricane Ridge, which according to pictures is absolutely amazing and breath taking, as was it sold to us by the park rangers 17 miles prior who said "you should be able to see Mount Olympus today, supposed to be clear up there". By the time we got to the top, it was snowing and there was a wall of opaque white fog/cloud right off the road that did not let us see a thing, no matter how many quarters we pumped into that viewer.
This was another photo taken of the same bit that is quite possibly better than the one posted, but I didn't think it did the same for the category.
*vampire country is Forks, WA**
**WA stands for Washington, not Western Australia, though our GPS would have us believe otherwise.
