Day 140: Snow by J.

I remember seeing snow on the list of themes and I thought that it would be tough since it never really snows here (even tougher for others too). But somehow today we got more snow than I remember in the last 5 years combined... and it's still going.

Anyway, my camera is stuck in my car (which is pretty much buried - http://www.buttonshy.com/asaotc/121909-snow2-800.jpg) so I had to use my iPhone. Here's our snowy front door.

Day 124: Droid by J.

Snapped this at a screening of the Star Wars Holiday Special tonight. It's hard to believe, but C3P0 is one of the least annoying characters in that special.

Day 123: Milk by J.

I don't recommend trying to eat cookies and milk while you drive. It's really difficult. Especially dipping the cookies..

Day 122: Cantina by J.

Here's a quickie. Was running around all day and unable to get out all of my good Star Wars stuff. So I went through a bunch of boxes of carded figures and found some that I never knew I had. Some really weird, somewhat recent ones like the concept figures and more. But then I came across this one.

He's Ellors Madak, the Duros Cantina Alien. Also seen in Luke's awesome Cantina scene earlier. He was the Fans Choice figure in 2003 and my first Tri-Logo packaged figure. I bought him in Canada on our honeymoon. We drove from Niagara Falls to St. Catherines just to go to Toys R Us and get this figure.

Day 105: Violent by J.

A shotgun, fake flowers and a thumbs up. This picture is 1/3 violent, 1/3 phony, and 1/3 ridiculous. It's also an outtake from my brother's Video Imaging class project, which will be 100% ridiculous. I can't wait to see how it turns out.

Day 87: Slick by J.

Went to see The Get Up Kids tonight. Brought my camera to a picture of Matt Pryor's hair. Back in the day it was pretty slick, but nowadays it's less slick (and also less thick). But they're still as awesome as ever.

Day 92: Thankful by J.

I'm thankful for my Mom. She watches Elle while we work every weekday. She also watched her last night while Carolyn and I went out for the first time in almost 2 years. But not only does she watch Elle... she plays with her and teaches her new things everyday, which is awesome.

Thanks Mom!

Day 82: Sick by J.

Whenever I'm sick I always get this weird thought in my head. I try to remember what it felt like to not be sick, but I can't ever remember. It's super Karl Pilkington-ish, but it happens every time.

Day 81: Striped by J.

I had to wait until the Phillies game was over to post my picture. I didn't want an entire superstitious city to come after me for posting a picture of 2 inches of a Philly Phanatic doll, and therefore ruining the game.. and potentially the series. Even as I was taking the picture, I was getting nervous because the Dodgers had the bases loaded and it was somehow my fault. They flipped cars around here when they won the World Series. I don't want to know what happens if they lose.

Day 80: Half by J.

I really miss getting new Mighty Muggs. The line pretty much fizzled away earlier this year. This was a San Diego Comic Con exclusive from a few years ago.

Also just caught up on photos from the last few days. Took all of the photos on time, just didn't post.

Day 79: Pumpkin by J.

Picked up these Mellocreme Pumpkins while grocery shopping. They are so damn good. I keep grabbing 4 or 5 at a time, then going back for more.

Day 78: Party by J.

We had a little party for the release of my new card game. It kind of snuck up on us so at the the last minute, we picked up some goodie bags and balloons. Balloons always mean there's a party around.

Day 77: Shirt by J.

I knew that my brother-in-law Marty would be perfect for this theme. He has some really cool shirts. I love this one, but unfortunately yellow is one of those shirt colors that doesn't work for me. I always put it on, look in the mirror and take it right back off.

Day 75: Step by J.

One of my huge pet peeves is having junk all over the steps. Probably from my childhood when my parents would keep the pots and pans on the steps going up to my room. So recently I made a new rule, that one side of the steps needs to be clear at all times. It seems to be working.

Day 74: Walrus by J.

Guffaw...

I really wanted to try and make a Walrus Bastard figure, but my customizing parts are all over the place and my new printer is shit.

Day 73: Wired by J.

I spent the whole night gluing together the boxes for my new card game. I was pretty much wired to the glue gun which was wired to the wall.

Day 72: Change by J.

I bought a new hoodie.

My old one is ripped and stained. I wanted the same one, but the stores insist on changing their designs up each year. I don't really like this kind of change, and will often buy multiples of the same jeans/shoes/sweaters just for this very reason. Will always regret not buying another one of those hoodies a few years ago. But I was able to find a new hoodie at a new store that is pretty damn awesome. Only bought one though...

Day 71: Fruit by J.

Everything in the area is so new and commercial looking and then there's this odd Auto Repair place named Apple, with an awesome font and an old gas tank. For a while I would drive right by and have no clue what they did there. I thought they worked on Apple computers, but only the really old ones with green text displays. It would at least match their fancy green lettering.
