i had a rather strange upbringing... my mom always told us that animals didn't have souls & so there was no point in loving them since they wouldn't be in heaven when we got there...
this is our cat, julian wu. he loves me so much that when i walked outside he tried to squeeze thru the torn screen just to get to me...
& this is how i imagine him breaking into the pearly gates to be with me...
This is a great image. It would make a fantastic cover to a novel as well. A novel about one cat's epic journey to find his owner in the afterlife perhaps...

I love this cat. He is always sitting in your doorway when I have to drive around the block. It always makes me smile.
